University of Central Florida residents evacuated

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Several students were evacuated from their residence hall Sunday after a carbon monoxide alarm went off around 3:10 p.m.

A spokesperson for the school said a total of seven suites were cleared out as Orange County Fire Rescue units checked the rooms.

Residents were allowed back into the building around 4:40 p.m.

It's unclear what caused the sensor to go off, but the UCF spokesperson said due to final exams being done not all of the rooms were occupied.
