JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says a 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg on the Northside late Thursday evening.
Police said seven shell casings were found at the scene. The teen was taken to UF Health with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said they were unsure of the motive and if this was connected to the murder at 13th and Canal streets Wednesday morning. Police said detectives would determine what happened after interviews were conducted.
