FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. – Three semi-automatic rifles were stolen from a pawn shop on South 14th Street in Fernandina Beach early Tuesday morning, according to the Fernandina Beach Police Department.

The burglar or burglars broke the glass out of a front door and took the weapons. No other items were stolen, police said.

Asst. Police Chief Mark Foxworth said the alarm from the pawn shop came in at 6 a.m. but there was a delay in getting word to police. The pawn shop's surveillance system has been down, so no images of the suspects were immediately available.

Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to contact FBPD Sgt. Chad Lee at 904-277-7342 or Crime Stoppers 1-866-845-8477. A reward of up to $3,000 may be available.
