Driver backs out of liquor store, into cruiser

FHP says Baker County man was charge with DUI

MACCLENNY, Fla. – A 30-year-old Middleburg man is in jail after backing into a patrol cruiser while attempting to leave a liquor store and lounge, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to the FHP report, John Flamion was attempting to back out of a parking space at Mac's Liquors in Macclenny just after 1 a.m.  when he backed into a parked Baker County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicle.

The officer was not in the car the time of the crash and there were no injuries.

After the initial investigation, Flamion was arrested for driving under the influence.

The FHP report goes on to say Flamion will be charged with DUI, property damage, driving with a suspended license and improper backing.
