ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – St. Johns County Fire Rescue along with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue responded to a house fire Friday afternoon.
Crews arrived at Scottridge Lane at 3:15 p.m. Friday and found smoke showing from the roof.

Water supply was quickly established and multiple crews entered the home.
Crews confirmed the home was unoccupied and then were able to locate and extinguish the rapidly spreading fire in the attic area of the home.
Once the fire was under control, firefighters continued operations completing salvage and overhaul inside the house.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
