FDLE arrests Keystone Heights man on child molestation charges

KEYSTONE HEIGHTS, Fla. – A 52-year-old Clay County man was arrested Tuesday on one count of lewd or lascivious molestation and one count of possession of child pornography, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

FDLE agents began investigating Francis "Frank" Miller Jr. after discovering that a computer at his home sharing child pornography online. 

"We gathered a lot of details through several years of investigation," said Josh Mead with FDLE. "We obtained consent to come inside and speak with Mr. Miller's wife, who was home by herself. Mr. Miller agreed to come back to the residence, and we spoke with him and also looked at his computer with his consent."

During the investigation, agents discovered Miller also allegedly molested a male child under the age of 12. Agents believe there could be additional victims.

Investigators said Millet's wife claims to know nothing about the crimes and say she's not in custody.

Neighbors say he was a maintenance man, and News4JAX spoke with one family where he recently did repair work. They were stunned.

"I have two little ones. 3-year-old and 6-year-old," said Chris Powers, a neighbor. "Never thought that from him. That's for sure."

The Clay County Sheriff's Office and the FBI assisted in the investigation.

Miller was booked into the Clay County Jail with bond set at $350,006.

This case is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
