JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department spent Wednesday evening battling a house fire on the Westside.
Firefighters were dispatched to a home on 6834 Miss Muffet Lane North around 9:30 p.m. When they arrived, there were heavy flames coming from the house.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire.
No injures were reported.
The State Fire Marshal was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
We do not yet know the extent of the damage due to the fire.
