Recipe: Superbowl springrolls
Banana Chocolate Chip Springrolls
8 inch wonton wrappers
12 ounce bag
Method of Preparation
Heat the vegetable oil in a large stock pot or heavy bottom sauce pot.
Split bananas in half, then cut to four inch lengths
Arrange a wrapper in a diamond shape in front of you. Brush with the beaten eggs.
Lay a cut banana on the wrapper, place chocolate chips along side the banana
Fold up the bottom corner, then the sides, then roll up tight.
Repeat with remaining bananas, chocolate and wrappers.
Place springrolls carefully in hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes, until heated through.
remove from heat then toss in granulated sugar.
