VyStar's online, mobile banking down for 2 days

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – VyStar Credit Union's Internet and mobile banking were offline for for two days due to an internal power failure, but the institution said its branches and ATMs were always available.

"We are experiencing a system outage," VyStar posted on its Facebook page Thursday morning. "We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience as we resolve this issue."

The institution posted Wednesday night that the problem was fixed, but VyStar Tweeted on Thursday morning: "Our apologies, Internet and Mobile Banking are back down. We are working to restore services. Due to the outage, ACH deposits are behind.

"Our teller systems are working as are our ATMs and debit cards. Because of heavy call volume, it may be difficult to talk with someone."

VyStar updated its website Thursday afternoon to say that mobile banking is still not available but all direct deposits scheduled for Thursday had posted to their accounts. Later that nigh, the credit union reported that all services were restored.
