JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Hazardous materials teams from both Jacksonville and Clay County responded after it was believed that two Jacksonville officers were exposed an unknown substance during a traffic stop late Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 295 at the Collins Road exit.
At least one of the officers was transported to Baptist Medical Center, where a decontamination unit was set up outside the entrance to the emergency room.

Authorities later told News4Jax that it was done as a precaution and there was never any danger.
Northbound traffic was slow in the area for about an hour.
