ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The search is on for a group of gunmen who shot at people, including a deputy, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said a couple was carjacked at gunpoint near Lancaster and Winegard roads early Saturday morning.

About 9 p.m. Saturday, three to four suspects matching the description of the carjackers were reported firing at people and buildings.

One person who was in a nearby car was hurt in the gunfire, but did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

Deputies said the suspects then ditched that car and ran off on foot, firing at an Orange County deputy on the way. That deputy was not hurt.
