Key West motorcyclist killed in Nassau Co. crash

YULEE, Fla. – A 37-year-old man from Key West died Sunday night after a car turned left in front of his motorcycle on U.S. 17 just south of Yulee.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Enrique Cintron was riding a Honda Shadow south on the highway at 8:22 p.m. when northbound Ford Fusion driven by Timothy Roszell, 20, attempted to turn left onto William Burgess Road.

Troopers said Cintron was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where he died.

A third vehicle behind the motorcycle swerved to avoid the crash, but hit the bike lying in the travel lane of the highway.

According to the FHP report, charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
