A 100-year-old car salesman is still closing the deals, and he has no plans to retire soon.

According to a UPI.com post, Derrel Alexander began his career in 1949, when gas was 17 cents per gallon. He still works six days a week at his Casper, Wyoming, dealership.

According to UPI, customers like Alexander because he is honest. He told the Casper Journal that working keeps him in good health, and that he "wouldn't last long" if he sat at home watching TV.
