Third suspect in Lake City shooting surrenders

LAKE CITY, Fla. – The third suspect sought in a deadly shooting near a park in Lake City turned himself in to police.

Ronyeah Wright, 19, surrendered to deputies at the Columbia County Detention Facility on Thursday after a "wanted" posted with his photo was posted on social media.

The other two suspects, Raeshaun Jordan, 16, and Bennie Jordan, 40, turned themselves in to police in April.

A shooting near Annie Mattox Park on March 31 killed 16-year-old Travarious Frank Claridy. Two other males were shot and were treated at a hospital.

"It is my hope that this incident provokes not only our community leaders, but also the community where this incident occurred to develop proactive strategies with the police department to prevent this type of violence in our community," Chief Argatha Gilmore. "It is going to take open and honest dialogue with our community leaders, where we rise up and address these issues."

Two of the three suspects are out on bond. Wright posted bond of $50,000.  Bennie Jordan posted $100,000 bond. Raeshaun Jordan is being held without bond.
