Police search for juveniles who went on joyride

Police said the juveniles stole the golf cart and were riding around the complex when they cut through a playground area and lost control, hitting a 2-year-old boy who became pinned underneath.

The toddler was hospitalized with minor injuries.

"It could have been a lot worse," a woman who lives at the complex said. "It could have killed somebody. He could have hit his head. You never know."

Police believe at least one of the unidentified juveniles lives at the complex.
