Man shot three times near Golfair Blvd
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is recovering in hospital after he was shot on the Northside Tuesday night.
Police said a 41-year-old man was shot three times on Stuart Street near Golfair Boulevard and 31st Street.
After he shot twice in the arm and once in the thigh, he ran to the on ramp on Interstate 95 South and Golfair Boulevard to get help from an officer. The officer was in a marked patrol car monitoring construction on the interstate, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
He told the officer he was shot and he was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police roped off Golfair Boulevard outside of the Raceway gas station off of I-95 while they investigated.
Police do not have any suspect information.
