Pedestrian hit in Argyle Forest

FHP: Pedestrian transported to UF Shands with non-life threatening injuries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol is reporting a pedestrian was hit by a motorcycle, Wednesday morning. According to FHP, the pedestrian was not using the cross walk when a motorcycle was driving north on Blanding Boulevard at Youngerman Circle. 

The pedestrian was tranported to UF Heath with non-life threatening injuries. The motorcyclist did not suffer any injuries and was not transported to the hospital.

The right turn lane of Blanding Boulevard, northbound at Youngerman circle was blocked for almost an hour while the crash was being investigated.
