Brunswick nurse receives surprise ceremony for National Nurses Week
Becky Morosky nominated by Kelly, Ken Trowbridge
BRUNSWICK, Ga. – A Brunswick nurse who was nominated for National Nurses Week had a surprise ceremony Tuesday.
In honor of National Nurses Week, BrightStar Care franchisees across the country submitted their model nurses for the national home care franchise's Nurse of the Year award by providing a testimonial about the work that they provide to clients, families and local health care partners.
Brunswick resident Becky Morosky, an experienced nurse, was nominated by Kelly and Ken Trowbridge, officials said.
In her nomination letter, the Trowbridges said, "Becky manages to not only be superb around clinical needs, but she also has the ability to empathize and make each family feel the care of their loved one is of the upmost importance."
Morosky was selected as a southeast finalist for the Nurse of the Year. Working with the nominating franchisee, the company arranged for a surprise "reveal event" at Alzheimer's of Glynn/Brunswick, complete with a trophy, cake, monetary prize and a speech by the Trowbridges, officials said.
