2-faced calf in Baker County lived 4 days

First of its kind in 60 years of raising cattle for Baker County farming family

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – A farmer in Baker County said a calf with two faces that was born in his field last month only lived four days.

Farmer Dwight Crews said he knew one of his cows was pregnant and he was expecting to see a baby soon. Sunday, the bundle of joy was delivered, but instead of having one face, it had two.

Crews had heard about two-face calves but had never seen one, and his family has been raising cattle for more than 60 years.

Ripley's Believe It or Not was in contact with the family. They said it's more common to see a cow born with an extra limb, but an extra face is rare. Ripley's said the longest a two-headed cow has lived is about 40 days.
