ST. MARYS, Ga. – A man has been taken to the hospital after being shot multiple times, St. Marys police said.
Police received a call at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday about shots being fired and a person hit at the Pine Apartments on Douglas Drive.

When officers arrived, they found a man in his mid-20s with multiple gunshot wounds mostly in his torso area, police said.
The man was taken to UF Health Jacksonville. His condition was not given.
No information was given about a shooter. Police said there were no witnesses.
