FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Three children were injured, at least one seriously, after a waterspout toppled a bounce house in Fort Lauderdale.

It happened on Memorial Day near the Bahia Mar hotel on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Fort Lauderdale police Sgt. DeAnna Greenlaw said three children were injured. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said three children were taken to a hospital.

At least one child was in serious condition.

Brandon Burchett posted on his Facebook page cellphone video of the waterspout lifting the bounce house into the air. It shows the bounce house being carried several feet.

Greenlaw said the waterspout lifted the bounce house from a tennis court into the middle of State Road A1A.
