A major retailer is under fire for selling a shirt with an upside down American flag on it.
California-based PacSun has pulled the shirt, which some called disrespectful to those who fought for the United States.
In a statement, PacSun said in part, "Out of respect for those who have put their lives on the line for our country, we have decided to stop selling the licensed flag T-shirt and are removing it from our website immediately."
Not everyone feels the shirt is controversial, however.
A comment on the PacSun website reads, "Keep it. It's not disrespectful or unpatriotic. The upside down flag is traditionally a sign of distress. Can anyone argue our country is not in distress?"
