GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A 57-year-old physician's assistant was arrested in Gainesville and charged with forging prescriptions.
Jenny T. Porter was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of counterfeit prescription blanks.

Police said a CVS pharmacy on Archer Road reported that a woman had called in a fraudulent prescription and officers responded and found Porter, who was there to pick up the fake prescription.
Police said a search found other narcotics Porter had obtained with fraudulent prescriptions, as well as counterfeit resistant prescription blanks.
