MIAMI – An alleged serial bank robber from Miami was arrested Saturday in Martin County after authorities say they found cash and a fake bomb in the car he was driving.

Tamarley Orr, 32, is accused of threatening workers at a Tequesta bank, telling them he was armed with a bomb.

Tequesta police officers and Martin County sheriff's deputies worked together to conduct a traffic stop on the car he was believed to be driving.

According to deputies, Orr was taken into custody just east of Interstate 95. Bomb disposal and hazardous materials teams were called in to investigate the package he had brought into the bank, but they discovered it was a can of lighter fluid wrapped in duct tape.

Orr allegedly confessed to Saturday's robbery as well as robberies in Palm City and Fort Myers.

The FBI is now investigating.
