JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man showed up to UF Health on Tuesday night after realizing he had been shot in the leg as he was walking down Davis Street near 18th Street.
According to police the man was walking down the street around 5 p.m. and heard what he thought were firecrackers.

It was at that point that the man came to realize that he had been shot in the leg and decided to walk to the hospital.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office searched the area and were not able to identify a suspect or a reason for the shooting.
