JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – St. Paul's Church of Jacksonville, led by Pastor John Guns, is holding a "burgers and books" event at Cleveland Arms Apartments later this month.
Gun says it's an effort to donate 1,000 books to kids who need them. The goal is for the books to help the kids learn how to read and expose their minds and imaginations to new adventures.

The event will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20. They will be grilling food.
The church is also asking people to donate books for the event. You can drop them off at St. Paul's from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
