19-year-old critical after crash on Cecil Parkway

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A young woman was hospitalized with critical injuries after her Toyota 4Runner left the southbound lane of Cecil Commerce Parkway about 3:30 p.m. Monday and struck a collapsible guardrail and rotated into the northbound lane, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said two northbound vehicles, a Dodge pickup truck towing a trailer and a Honda van, struck the Toyota.

Julia Tedesco, 19, of Macclenny, was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where she was listed in critical injuries. The driver of the van had a minor injury and and did not require hospitalization. A 5-year-old child in the van and the driver of the pickup truck were not hurt.

According to the FHP report, the accident is still under investigation.
