JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Residents of St. Augustine off San Marco Avenue and US 1 North are in for a dry spell Thursday night due to a planned water outage planned for June 11.
The city's public works department has scheduled a necessary water outage to install a 12 inch valve to help upgrade the city's infrastructure.

According to officials, the outage will affect areas north of State Road 12/Picolata Road, to Poinciana Avenue.
Residents and businesses will be out of water from 9 p.m. Thursday until 2 a.m. Friday.
Business in the area have been notified of the outage with door hangers while the management of the Las Palmas Condo and Ponce Island Condo association have been notified.
