JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Andrew Ray Murray, 34, was found guilty Thursday afternoon of armed robbery while wearing a mask and resisting an officer without violence in connection with a May 2014 robbery of the SunTrust Bank in Neptune Beach.

Prosecutors say Murray walked into the bank wearing a mask and holding an object. He then began yelling and demanding money from the vault. The bank teller gave the defendant cash and he left.

When officers spotted Murray riding a bicycle nearby shortly after the robbery, they said he dropped the bike and began running. After a brief foot chase, Murray was arrested.

Murray faces up to 30 years in prison. He will be sentenced the week of June 29.
