Woman killed in crash on I-95 in Palm Coast

PALM COAST., Fla. – A woman was killed early Monday morning in an accident on Interstate 95 in Flagler County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to the FHP report, a Nissan Rogue heading north at mile marker 829 about 2 a.m. suddenly slowed and changed lanes into the path of a tractor-trailer.

The big rig hit the passenger side of the car. Micale Annilus, 40, of Houston, who was in the passenger seat, was killed in the accident. The driver of the car, Dagobert Laurent, 43, also of Houston, and passenger Winderson Anilus, 21, of Key West, were taken to Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach with serious injuries.

The truck driver, Reynier Ricardo Pino, 31, of Miami, was not injured.
