JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are investigating after a man was shot in the Lackawanna area.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says the man was shot sometime before 10 p.m. Tuesday night. The victim told police he was walking along Nolan Street when two men approached him and shot him in the leg, then fled the scene.

The victim was taken to UF Health Jacksonville. At last check, he was expected to recover.
