JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are looking for a driver who ran off after a police chase ended with a crash.
The driver crashed into a water pipe next to a unit at the Kings Trail apartments on Toledo road, not far from Wolfson High School.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says the chase started in Arlington. They have not released any details on how it started, or if anyone was hurt.
A passenger in the car did stay and talked with police.
News4JAX checked with JEA to see if the damage to the pipe will affect the water in that neighborhood. They say the issue is beyond their point of responsibility, which means it is up to the complex owner to ensure the safety of the water.
JEA was on hand to help shut off the water if needed.
News4JAX tried to contact the apartment complex management to get more information about the water supply, but we have yet to hear back.
