Wildlife officials: Men found with undersized fish

KEY LARGO, Fla. – Four men were arrested and charged after wildlife officials said they were acting suspiciously on a commercial lobster boat and they found undersized fish.

Officers Jessica Sutter and Paige Pestka were on a water patrol in the Angelfish Creek area of Key Largo when they said they saw the men acting suspiciously.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conversation Commission officials said one man dropped a bag overboard and they stopped the boat.

Wildlife officials said the officers found one bag of 14 wrung lobster tails, four of which were undersized, as well as another bag with 38 undersized mangrove snapper, five undersized yellowtail snapper and one undersized red grouper.

FWC arrested the men.
