Police: Man robs Wells Fargo on Westside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man robbed the Wells Fargo on San Juan Avenue Monday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The man handed a note to the teller just before noon demanding money, police said.

The teller complied and the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was shown and no one was injured in the robbery, police said.

The robber, shown above in surveillance photos released by police, is described as a black man in his late 20s to early 30s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 185 to 190 pounds. He was wearing a black shirt, black shorts and black baseball cap, police said.

This was the 14th bank robbery in Jacksonville this year. JSO has made arrests in all but one. Two suspects accounted for seven of the holdups.
