Pa. man who blamed robberies on 'evil twin' sentenced

Steven Felton was convicted of 10 robberies last month

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A Pennsylvania man who claimed in court that his "evil twin" robbed 10 gas stations and other stores must spend at least 60 years in prison, The Associated Press reported.

Steven Felton, 34, was sentenced to 62 to 124 years by a Lehigh County judge on Monday, The Allentown Morning Call reported.

Judge Kelly Banach said she was offended by Felton's arrogance.

Chief Deputy District Attorney Matthew Falk asked for a long sentence, saying some traumatized clerks are unable to return to work, the AP reported.

Most of the heists were caught on video, which clearly showed Felton's face as he wielded a pellet gun.

A jury last month convicted Felton in 10 Lehigh County robberies that all occurred during the fall of 2012.
