Big rig stuck on Orange Park railroad tracks moved
CCSO: Crossings too steep for tractor-trailers to clear
ORANGE PARK, Fla. – A tractor-trailer got stuck while trying to cross train tracks at Greenridge Road near Doctors Lake Drive in Orange Park around 8 a.m. Wednesday.
According to Clay County Sheriff's Office, the driver ignored the warning signs to not cross the railroad tracks. The grade of the road is too steep for semis to be able to cross.
All train traffic, including Amtrak, was notified to halt traffic until a wrecker could remove the trailer wedged on the tracks.
