2 men shot in home-invasion robbery in Norwood

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police are investigating after two men were shot and wounded during a home-invasion robbery in Norwood Monday evening.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said it happened around 6:20 p.m. at a home on Broxton Street.

Police said a man walked into the home and shot two male victims.

One man was shot in the arm and it is unknown where the other victim was shot. Both men have non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said approximately five people were inside the house at the time but only two were injured.  It's unknown if any children were inside the home. 

It is also unknown if anything was taken from inside the home.

Police did not have a description of persons involved and did not know how the suspects got away.

Robbery detectives were on the scene and are investigating.
