Police: Man robs bank in Riverside

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man robbed the Center State Bank on King Street in Riverside Friday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

The man entered the bank at 1234 King Street about just before 3 p.m. Friday and presented a teller with a demand note. The teller complied and handed the man money from the bank, police said.

The robber then left the bank and fled west through the parking lot. No weapon or vehicle was seen, police said.

The robber was described as a white or Hispanic man, 6 feet tall, weighing 180 to 200 pounds with brown hair, wearing blue jeans and a blue long-sleeved shirt.
