ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A 54-year-old St. Augustine man accused of sexual battery on a child younger than 12 fled to Mexico and was tracked down and captured by the U.S. Marshals Foreign Field Office, the St. Augustine Police Department announced Tuesday.
George Catlett Getsinger was brought back to Florida and is awaiting extradition to St. Augustine from Miami, police said.
Getsinger is charged with capital sexual battery on a victim younger than 12 years old stemming from a May 2015 incident, police said.
