Flooding closes Market Street at Confederate Street

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Drivers in downtown Jacksonville ran into problems Tuesday evening after flooding closed down Market Street at Confederate Street.

The streets run along Hogans Creek and witnesses said the creek began flooding due to the incoming tide Tuesday evening.

There is no word as to when the road will be reopened but drivers are being urged to use caution when driving in the area.
