GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. – A bus driver and two other people were transported to the hospital after an accident Wednesday morning on State Road 16 east and Highway 17.
According to Capt. Charles LeRoy, with Clay County Fire Rescue, the crash involved a school bus from St Johns Country Day School and one other vehicle. Three people were transported to the hospital with two in serious condition and one in stable condition.

The accident happened just after 6 a.m. and closed one northbound lane of Highway 17 for part of the morning.
