Terrance Sopenasky found guilty of shooting, killing man in 2014
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Terrance Sopenasky, 30, was found guilty Friday afternoon of manslaughter with a firearm and two counts of attempted manslaughter with a firearm.
In March 2014, Sopenasky had an argument with Kenneth Jackson Jr. Shortly after, Jackson and two friends drove by the defendant's home.
When Jackson parked and got out of his car, Sopenasky fired 15 shots at the victim and his car.
Jackson was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's friends were not injured.
Sopenasky faces up to 60 years in prison and will be sentenced in the week of Dec. 7.
