ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A 29-year-old man sentenced to 45 years in state prison was found dead Wednesday inside the Jefferson Correctional Institute in the Florida panhandle.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating William Dillow's death as a homicide.

Dillow pleaded guilty earlier this year to lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 12 and sexual battery in a case out of St. Johns County.
Dillow was arrested last year at his home on Pacetti Road after several children at a Flagler County school told staff members about the sexual abuse.
Rhonda Wilkerson, 51, was also arrested in the case. She was convicted in May on two counts of sexual battery on a minor and sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Court documents from New Jersey show in 2006 that Dillow was convicted of four counts of aggravated assault as well as two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, all on the same day.
