Woman hit by stray bullet in NW Jacksonville


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A woman was shot in the leg by a stray bullet Monday night in Northwest Jacksonville, police said.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said shots were fired, after an argument between at least two people on Golfbrook Drive and Golf Forest Drive.

A woman who walking nearby was shot in the leg. She was transported to UF Health with non-life-threatening injures. 

Officers are investigating how many people were involved in the argument and who the gunman is.
