Police trying to ID residential burglars

ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. – Police in Atlantic Beach are working to identify two burglars who struck multiple homes last Thursday morning.

Police said three forced entry burglaries were reported between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 12 on the north end of Atlantic Beach.

Witnesses reported seeing two black men, between ages 18-30, in the area, knocking on doors of homes that appeared to have no one home.

The burglars were driving a dark color Lincoln MKX SUV, 2011-2014 model (similar to the one pictured). The vehicle may have damage to the passenger side view mirror.
