Duo arrested on human trafficking charges
Robert Seabrum, 39, Leandra Edwards, 23, found with stolen vehicle and teenager
GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. – A man and woman were arrested Saturday after they were found in a stolen vehicle with a 17-year-old female.
According to the Glynn County Police Department, the day after a 2013 Nissan Altima was reported stolen, the vehicle was spotted in the parking lot of Glynn Place Mall.
Officers made a traffic stop on the vehicle and found Robert Seabrum, 39, Leandra Edwards, 23, and a 17-year-old female from Dallas, Georgia.
Police said aafter an investigation, Seabrum was charged with human trafficking, sexual exploitation of children, theft by receiving stolen property and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Edwards was charged with human trafficking, sexual exploitation and theft by conversion.
The teenager was turned over to the custody of the Department of Family and Children Services.
