Police: Wallet, credit cards taken from car, used within 5 minutes

Jacksonville police are searching for a suspect in an auto burglary on Leonid Rd.

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is searching for a man wanted in an auto burglary on Jacksonville's Northside.

Police said a woman's purse and credit cards were stolen from her unlocked vehicle along Leonid Road, while she was dropping a child off at daycare. Police said the suspect, seen in the surveillance photo, used the credit cards within five minutes of the burglary.

The sheriff's office also released a photo of the SUV it said the suspect was driving.
