Holt Griffith, 7, at EverBank Field before Sunday's Jaguars game

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Make-A-Wish of Central and Northern Florida flew Holt Griffith, 7, and his family from their home in Houston, Texas to Jacksonville this weekend to meet the Jaguars before Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Griffith was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in January 2014. Because of his illness, Griffith is not able to play on a local football team, his mother says. Crystal Griffith tells News4JAX, her son is a loyal Jaguars fan and watches the team play on television.

Make-A-Wish granted the 7-year-old's wish to come to Jacksonville with his parents and brother and meet the team. Griffith took to the field before the game Sunday, getting some one-on-one time with Quarterback Blake Bortles, along with an autographed football.

Kickoff was set for 1:00 pm against the Falcons. The Griffith family watched the game before returning to Texas.
