Suspect sought in St. Augustine Homeless Coalition burglaries


ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – St. Johns County deputies are seeking a male suspect in connection with several burglaries to a shed belonging to the St. Augustine Homeless Coalition.

The burglaries happened last month on West King Street.

The suspect in the surveillance images committed four commercial burglaries to the Coalition in December, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said he cut a hole in the door and stole numerous personal cleaning supplies earmarked for Coalition clients.

The Homeless Coalition is a non-profit organization and is out approximately $2,000 worth of donations and out $1,000 in other funds.
