Housekeepers find meth bottle in hotel room

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A meth bottle was found Thursday in a hotel room in Baymeadows, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

The bomb squad was called to the Suburban Lodge near the intersection of Baymeadows Road and Philips Highway after housekeepers found a bottle consistent with cooking meth in the room.

Police were called about 9:30 a.m. Officers investigated and determined it was likely a meth lab.

Police said there had been some kind of dispute in the room.
